Hello! In this blog I’m going to talk about what I want for my life in some years. My future profession has a lot of areas where I can work. This is my first year studying Chemistry and Pharmacy and I’m not sure of what kind of job I would like to have, maybe when I finish my career I will want something different. I don’t know if I want to work outdoor or indoors, but what I know at this moment is that I imagine myself working as a clinical pharmacist. I think I will be in contact with patients telling them about how they have to manage medicaments, or just analyzing their laboratory data to make an effective treatment.  I’ve always imagined me working at Santiago, near to my family, but I think when I get older I will be bored of this city and probably I will travel to the south of Chile. Hello everyone! This time I’m going to write about something very important for the pharmaceutical nanotechnology: nanocapsules as drug delivery systems. I choose this topic because I think is very interesting the way that a drug can be administrated and how it can help to improve lifestyle. I didn’t know of the existence of this technology, till a day of this year, when I was visiting a science page of Facebook and I read about it. Well, a nanocapsule are colloidal nanobubbles with a liquid or solid core in which the drug is placed into a cavity, so, they can serve as a drug carrier. An advantage of them is the small form they are made. The design of this capsules was made because they would be absorbed in specific areas of our system in a better way, in other words, they would penetrate cells more easily because of the size of the structure and their polymer membrane, to finally make an efficient drug targeting. Luna deeply asleep I think being in contact with animals is so important for our life and our energies, nevertheless, I have had just one pet in my entire life: a cat called Luna. She lives with me since this year, around April. I found her on the street, she was alone and dirty, my heart broke up and I took her into my arms. I carried her home and I had to insist my mother to let me adopt her. At that moment my mum said she doesn’t like cats, but now she changed her mind and always want to caress her. If you ask me why I love Luna, I think I could talk a whole day telling you the reasons why, but here are some things: I love when she stays with me at my bed, purring. Also I love when she follows me to the bath and every time we play. She always stays by my side, till in my bad days. Hi! Making this blog makes me really excited because I’m going to talk about the best concert where I've been. Well, I think music is so important to our lifes because it helps to improve our mood and de-stress. In my short life I’ve been just in 2 concerts, the first one was a long time ago, in 2014; I think I didn’t enjoy it as I imagined, because it was at “Estadio Nacional” so I saw the group “One Direction” of the size of an ant.  The second and last show where I have been was the Harry Styles’ concert and it was this year! Specifically on 25 th of May, at “Movistar Arena”.   Harry Styles is a British singer of 24 years old; you can recognize him because he was member of One Direction. I went to the show with a friend and we had much fun. I remember that I sang so loud and jumped a lot, I was feeling so good. There were 2 stages and one of them was, literally, beside me. Hello everyone!  As the tittle says, I’m going to talk about a place I’d like to know. Tower Bridge, London. Well, it’s a little bit difficult to choice just one. I’ve never been in Europe, but I’ve always wanted to visit it, particularly England. I’d like to go there for these reasons: because of the beautiful landscapes, the culture, the famous monuments that this country has like Big Ben, the Tower of London, and because there live some musicians I like and maybe the cost of the tickets of their concerts can be cheaper, so I’d take advantage of it. Windermere. Till now, I have talked like I’d like to visit England for a holiday, but I think it would be a great experience to stay there for more time. I mean, I’d like to study there. The idea of being with another family, meet new friends and improve my knowledge in this idiom and culture excites me.
