Hello everyone! I’m so excited to write this blog today because I’m going to talk about when my favourite artist, Harry Styles, came to Chile. He’s a singer of 24 years old, I listen to his music since 2012, when he was on a group called “One Direction”. I’m a fan of them but now they’re separate, so they have begun to write their own music as soloists. I usually listen to all of members, but I think the most I like is Harry's music. He published his Tour dates and Chile was on the list! (25 th July, 2018). I had never go to my favourite artists concerts because I don’t have how to pay a ticket, and this time wasn’t an exception… wasn’t it? Well, I went to the Hotel where he was accommodating, with all the faith that he came out to meet his fans, but he didn’t. The next day (day of the show) I was so sad, I opened the app Facebook to read a group of fans of Harry in Chile and they said there was more tickets on sale. Hi everyone, in this blog I’m going to show you one of my favourite pictures. It’s difficult to choose only one, because I have lived too many special moments and I’ve met people that I love so much, but finally I decided to choose this one, because I’m with my best friends of all my life. I know them because we met at school and since there we are inseparables. This year we decided to go out in Heritage Day, so we went to many places like “El Club de la Unión”, to a fire station (we got on a fire truck, it’s fun). In general, we passed a good time knowing places and learning about our city history. At the end of that day we visit a gothic church (you can see it a little bit in the photo) and we wanted to take a picture of us, to remind that day in the future. I’d like to have more days like that, but University takes me so much time ☹

Hi everyone, today I’m going to talk about “Coco”, my favorite movie. This film is about the life of a boy called Miguel that wants to be musician, but his family doesn’t like musicians because Coco’s father (Coco is Miguel’s grandmother) left them. I like this movie because it makes me feel lot of emotions. When I saw it for the first time it made me laugh, but also it made me cry, and the first thing that I thought was “I like Mexican culture” because of the music and the traditions they have.   I don’t watch so many movies, but when I do, I can watch a lot of genders, like comedy, romance, etc. I think that the kind of movie that I most have seen is animated cartoons, like Disney movies. In spite of what I recently said, the last movie that I saw is not a Disney movie, it was “Avengers”. Hi everyone, today I’m going to talk about mobile phones, because this is the piece of technology that I most use, so I think it’s my favorite. I really enjoy use it because it has a lot of functions and it simplify my life in a lot of senses. It helps me when I have to study, because I can search things on Internet or I can download applications that help me to solve my questions. I use it when I have to communicate with my family or friends, also it let me record videos and take pictures of beautiful moments and I can download games to have a fun time or listen to music everywhere I go. When I was a child, I used to play with my brother about being teachers, I thought that was my future and I projected working in a classroom. Meanwhile I was growing up, I found what I really like: science. I realize that I don’t know how to explain things, so pedagogy didn’t was my option. In my last year at school I didn’t know what I wanted to study, so I begin to investigate on Internet about careers with biology and chemistry. In general, I searched about careers in the health area. There were a lot of options, like nursing, medicine, but I wasn’t sure about what I wanted for the rest of my life, so I made the PSU test and I decided to have a gap year to think and develop myself in another areas. ➼ Hello, I’m Claudia Carrasco and I’d like to introduce myself because I want you to know how my life is. I was born on 9 th April, 1999, and I have lived here in Santiago all my life. About my family I can say that I have 2 brothers, I’m in the middle. Although we argue a lot, we watch movies and series together having a good time. My blogs sessions expectations: I have learned english by myself, so I don’t know how to express this idiom as I want. I’d like to have an extensive vocabulary and I hope these sessions can help me to satisfy that. In my blogs sessions I’d like to talk about the music or movies that I like or how I’m feeling with my new university life. In my personal opinion, I think that reading and writing are easier than speaking and listening, because of the time, for example, when you want to write, you can think and formulate in your head the words that you’re going to say and when you read and you don’t know the meaning of a word, you can search on a dictionary or translator. Meanwhile when you listen, you have to process the pronunciation and there are words that you don’t recognize or you can get confused because it can mean another thing.
